Culatta art Rude black vegetable tanned horse leather 87 dm
Horse Culatta (art Rude) Horse culatta is a distinctive leather cut from the hind section of the horse, located just above shell cordovan. Valued in avant-garde fashion, it is known for its natural irregular grain, strength and unique character. This leather features a mix of textures – from smooth and glazed areas to suede-like sections, often with visible traces of shell cordovan. Each piece is highly individual, giving culatta its signature raw and expressive look. Both the grain (top) and reverse sides are used in leather goods. The high oil content allows it to develop a rich patina over time, often with a subtle metallic sheen. Despite its dense fiber structure, culatta remains soft, flexible and comfortable, making it suitable for selected wallets, footwear and niche designs. Specifications
